Reporting into the Equipment Manager for Scandinavia you will be given an excellent opportunity to join a diverse, world class organisation with a lot of future international career opportunities.
As an Equipment Coordinator you will be given opportunity of taking responsibility for stock management in the Scandinavian Cluster along with daily equipment execution in close coordination with rest of the equipment team.

You will together with your stakeholders optimise equipment flows in our cluster providing sound and clean containers to Maersk Line's customers. You will be a Maersk Line representative towards suppliers and internal stakeholders and together you will work actively to secure delivery on both operational and commercial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Responsibility of equipment stock management in Scandinavia which include cost optimization without compromising our commercial requirements.
• Develop close relationships with internal stakeholders in the Scandinavian organisation, Liner Operations Cluster and Global Service Center to better facilitate local business needs; develop and maintain good relationships with external vendors.
• Optimise equipment flows for the container assets for the different carrier brands within the Maersk group.
• Initiate, lead and handle projects and improvement initiatives.
• Build a strong cross functional relationship

We are looking for

The ideal candidate has a proven track record within Supply Chain Management, Customer Service, Operations or Logistics, is a team player with a commercial mind-set and a proactive approach.

You should have a convincing personality, a sense of urgency, drive and be result orientated.

It is a fundamental requirement to be a clear communicator at all levels – for both external and internal stakeholders, be confident in decision making, able to overcome objections and influence others without formal authority.

Additionally, you are able to drive change and influence stakeholders at all levels. Basic understanding of process excellence is preferable.

Since the corporate language is English, proficiency in written and spoken English is a must. Knowledge of one of the Scandinavian language is a big advantage, Danish language preferred.
